Autumn Nbizon (Medicine) Earrings 🍂
As the forest shifts from summer into autumn, the land reminds us that change is part of every cycle. Leaves turn, berries ripen, medicines are gathered, and the earth begins preparing for rest.
The Autumn Medicine Earrings were inspired by that season of gathering and gratitude. Warm shades of rust, amber, deep berry and cream are woven together with luminous gold, reflecting the colours found across the land as autumn settles in.
Created using traditional raised Algonquin beadwork techniques, each five-petal flower is carefully built bead by bead, giving the design its dimensional, sculpted form. At the centre rests mother of pearl, a soft natural element that catches the light beautifully and brings a sense of balance to the rich autumn palette.
Finished with gold accents and delicate edging, these earrings are a celebration of the beauty found in changing seasons, the gifts carried by the land, and the generations of knowledge held within our beadwork traditions. 🤎
